PURPOSE:
- Reporting to the CTO, the main purpose of this position will maintain, administer, and handle day to day IT related activities to run mission critical systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track and record all vacation and leave requests for US employees including hourly and salary employees - Provide Help/Service Desk support and coordinate with 3rd party providers.
- Perform desktop installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, applications, and security.
- Document and communicate assigned work (helpdesk tickets) on a timely basis.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, tablets, printers, computer peripheral, devices and telecommunication devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications on user computers and maintain an inventory of installed software and hardware and manage licensing.
- Provide internal IT support (server security, software updates, hardware maintenance etc.)
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures and provide documentation for staff.
- Develop and document network standards, procedures, and specifications.
- Provide documentation as required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs for server installation and upgrades.
- Provide support to other IT team members and end-users.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently enrolled in a Co-op program and pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP and other Windows services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System Server and Workstation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange hybrid, Microsoft 365 and Azure, Skype for Business, MS Office, Teams, Sharepoint and Box
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP networking and VOIP
- Knowledge in virtualization software such as VMware ESXi
- Managing and administering Active Directory (AD), group policy updates, AD site configuration and major version upgrades
- Managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices and information security guidelines
- Managing Windows Server OS (2008 R2 to 2019), VMWare 7.x and above
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration
- Familiarity with Windows deployment toolkit and remote management technologies
