RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document designs through technical drawings, schematics, including BOM, ERP software, and written reports.
• Executes mechanical designs using 3D CAD.
• Serves as a resource for product application with sales, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
• Communicates effectively to internal and external customers through the preparation of technical reports, design specifications, operational manuals and machine fabrication packages.
• Assists with the design and development of new products and processes.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 0-3 years professional experience
• Machine or product design experience preferred
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledge in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of fundamental engineering principles.
• Mathematically and mechanically minded, strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Experience using 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Experience creating technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
