  • Proven record of long term usability
  • Dependable weather resistance (material kept dry in wind, rain, cyclone)
  • Invulnerability to corrosion
  • Effective containment of debris and noise pollution
  • Easy assembly; simple, unimpeded access to conveyor belt
  • Competitive pricing, positive cost-benefit

Specifications

Beltcover™ from Almex is engineered in two standard styles: all-weather roof and on-belt containment. Modular in design, these belt covers offer generous flexibility in both fitting and maintenance. Modular sections are sold in lengths of 1.77m (5.8’) or 2.2m (7.2’), with widths designed to suit the specifications of the conveyor. Module lengths can be shortened (by trimming) for edge segments and other spaces needing reduced dimensions.

Pre-manufactured covers can be retrofitted to accommodate belt dimensions. It is recommended, however, that users determine the appropriate measurements before placing an order for the manufacture of covers. Each medium cover section (average size) weighs a mere 27kg (59.5 lb), a lightweight composition that allows a single man to access the conveyor with minimal effort. With a “flip top” opening operation, these belt covers are able to reliably contain and protect bulk material while also granting efficient, simple access to the belt.

Each cover utilizes molded hinges that allow for ease in installation and access (for maintenance). Up to 100m (328’) per day can be fitted onto a conveyor system.
